Hi, I’m Nat

As a little girl, I was obsessed with the tiny door underneath my Nan’s stairs, imagining it was an Alice in Wonderland-esque gateway to another world. I even took a heavy, giant key back home with me, 60 miles away, sure it must unlock magic.

That sense of wonder never left me and, today, I’m often told I see things in ways others don’t. In my work, that translates to the belief that new technologies can, will, and do change the way we experience life, progressing us far beyond ‘the way it’s always been done’.

“There are so many people who believe they can write, but Natalie is one of the few who can actually write copy. The goal was to get readers excited about our project; after a successful fundraise, we made $535 million.” ~ Jon Pullinger, Chief Technical Officer

Digital marketing and purpose-driven tech

Starting out as an online editor and creative services exec, I was hooked on the speed of digital from the moment I built my first site. I still love how you can create, switch up, and write over content in an instant. Since then, I’ve been fascinated by human connection in a digital world, our relationships with other animals, and more recently with AI ‘other’.

Having worked on copy, content and marketing for apps for women’s safety, positive psychology for young people, animal health products, and digital healthcare services, I’m drawn to more work in these areas. Working with changemakers who have no blueprint for what they’re building — doing it anyway because it’s more a calling than a job, I’m often a ‘first believer’ for my clients, bringing creativity and compassion alongside commercial focus to their venture.

“Natalie’s methods are in-depth. The whole process was really worthwhile & enjoyable. She worked to uncover my motivations and I gained insight into how I work and think. I felt Natalie understood me, my business and my clients, which results in copy that exceeds expectation.” ~ Jonny Ambrose, Visual Artist

Immersive tech and transformative experiences

I’m also a founder, building an immersive experience through my creative lab, Nova Is Lost, for anyone who needs to know: better days will always come. There, I can write like nobody’s reading and create like I’ve never been torn apart, dreaming big and working it out as I go, because I’ve learned there’s no time to wait to do things you feel compelled to do.

What’s your story?

I’d love to hear from you if you’re looking for a creative, commercially-minded partner to help bring your vision to life.

“If you want a team player that’s going to be aggressive on tasks, work really hard, be autonomous, have all the benefits you’d expect of a freelancer, like dedication, commitment, and time management, but actually be a part of your team and care as much as anyone, you will love to work with Nat.” ~ Abbie Heslop, MD
